spring into summer

The front yard has bloomed and is already beginning to fade, after a 90-degree weekend and this week of 80 degree days so far. We've turned the corner from a wet cool spring into hot baking early summer. I need to remember to water more often, and set up the soaker hose in the perennial garden. (In happy handy husband news, Michael bought and installed a hose hanger under the deck over the weekend.)
